Court & sheriff costs are paid separately (not to us)
When you file a case, the court and the process server bill you directly. These are never part of our flat service fee, and we don't collect them:
- 1 Court filing fee — typically $30–$100, depending on your state and claim amount. Paid directly to the court.
- 2 Process server / sheriff fee — typically $40–$100, depending on location. Paid directly to the sheriff's office or a private server.
If you win, these costs are usually recoverable from the other side on top of what you're owed.
